Fine Art Grandparent Santa Photography Sessions

More than a Legacy. Your Inner Child knows.

Are you a grandparent who is firmly in touch with your inner child? Have you seen our Fine Art Santa Session artwork and thought, "If only I could have done that when I was little." Now you can!

The ultimate gift for yourself and your family

These Santa sessions are much more than Santa Pics or a chance to experience milk and cookies with Santa Claus. This is the creation of nostalgic artwork with the direct purpose of creating wall art and storybooks for one's family.

We are more than a simple portrait session; these Santa sessions and portraits create stories. Each piece of artwork is a story unto itself and a memory cast for family generations to enjoy. The artwork is a keepsake and heirloom for family and friends to enjoy for lifetimes.

Each of our Grandparent Santa Photography Sessions discovers something deeper and profound. Once the grandparent's inner child comes out to play, Santa himself changes. They both begin to engage at a different level. The emotion is beautiful, and the session takes on its direction.

At this moment, we begin to see and capture the tale of the grandparent's inner child and their connection to their past and Santa. This is something one cannot purchase in a store. It is not something that is quickly bottled. Once we have it in a photograph, the images become priceless and a family gift like none other.

Taking a moment further than you may expect

You may think your session with Santa will be about creating a portrait or magical image. A photography studio generally creates pictures, and portrait sessions with Santa Claus generally create childlike photos that are cute and fun. We take a different view when we create with Santa.

Your Inner Child is still there...waiting.

When you think of Santa, you probably think of children and presents. We think of Santa Clause as majestic, magical, loving, and kind. We feel the loving connection between all people and Santa, not just children. We all were children once, and every child has their memories of Santa and Christmas. Our imaginations ran wild with fun and excitement every Christmas.

Then it was gone; we grew up. Children became adults. For whatever reason, our inner child went inside and, in some cases, never surfaced again. We had to act like adults. We had to leave our inner child and all those magical thoughts behind. Parents had to become more mature, and the experience of Santa Claus was left to the next generation.

The reality is this...your inner child is still there, and they are waiting for you to say, "Come, let's play!" You know you can still feel the same excitement of the magic of Santa. You know you still want to ask him questions and show him that you have been a good girl or boy.

Your inner child is who owns your creativity. They hold the goose bump button. Your inner child is who brings joy to a room and lights up a family during any holiday. Your inner little one not only wants a photo with Santa but also wants to "experience" Santa. They want to see Santa and share with him and laugh with him.

Your inner child has a personality of their own.

As you grow into adulthood, you change. Life hits you, and you build your shell. You are still on the nice list. However, life has a way of changing your perspective. The change begins when you learn to rationalize.

Your inner child "has not" changed. They are still the fun-loving, creative, and imaginative little doer that she or he was before learning the meaning of rationalization. They have a definite personality, and they want to play.

Let your inner child out if you want to feel JOY and HAPPINESS!

When clients book a Grandparent Fine Art Santa Session, they choose not only to let their inner child come out to play. But there is more. As this is technically a studio portrait session, we will capture portraits of you and Santa.

Yes, this is true, but there is more. The goal is to capture portraits of the wonder of your inner child within authentic, iconic Santa moments. This is what separates us from regular studio Santa pics. We do not like studio Santa pics as portrayed in society today.

We want to see, feel and photograph the emotion and magic that a little one feels about Santa. We want to capture the moment. Each piece of fine art created is to show the Grandparent's personality and imagination when they were five years old.

How these Grandparent Fine Art Santa Sessions are done will change how you feel; that is what we want to capture. The more you access your inner child, the more your Santa tale will unfold.

Wall art and Storybook set to Poetry.

The Wall Art. This emotion, imagination, and inner childlike character will fill your wall art with the wonder and magic of a time gone by with Santa. The resulting nostalgic fine art will capture the imagination of every person that stands in front of the art.

As you can see, this becomes more than a portrait session that produces Santa pics. It is a fine art portrait session to create and capture a meaningful story. Sessions and portraits like this may happen only once in a lifetime. Your family will be happy you chose to make your Santa Claus portrait in Fine Art.

The Storybook. These are not photography or photo albums. Albums are for weddings or family sessions. We are storytellers and create and print each group of images in a storybook fashion. Each image and print is accompanied by beautiful poetry.

Photos are spectacular and consistent in artistic quality from page to page. We turn photos from the session into works of art that tell your dream visually.

The session will produce a sequence of images that tell the greater tale of the grandparent's dream of visiting Santa when they were five years old and at 5 minutes to midnight.

Individually these images tell of an iconic, nostalgic moment; however, collectively, the photos tell of a beautiful dream of a child and her or his imagination. The storybook created from a grandparent session is breathtaking. Perfect for the holiday season.

We make it readable for all ages. When we write the poetry for your Grandparent's storybook, it is not just holiday whimsical. It is a fun and magical tale that is easy to read to children; however has purpose and meaning for any adult. Children will laugh, and adults will feel deep, smile and just might find joyous tears running down their cheeks.

The Sessions are Performances.

Santa's helpers are on hand before, during, and after each session to ensure every detail is taken care of on your special Santa Storybook Portrait day. Once you book your appointment, we take care of the rest. We supply the wardrobe unless you have a special outfit that has purpose and meaning and fits the artwork to be created.

Although adult kids (sons and daughters) are welcome at these sessions, we like to keep Grandparent sessions private. We find a grandparent's inner child will come out to play when very few people are watching. These photos are essential for the end message, and we take the moment of creation very seriously.

To create the magic, you must let the magic happen.

We create a magical environment. We want the grandparent to lose herself of himself at the moment. We want to see childlike interaction with Santa and have the emotions be genuine. This takes patience and a loving environment.

Sessions are not short and can take up to an hour. Grandparents are always amazed at just how fast time flies by. The reason for that is their inner little girl or boy has come out to play.

Grandmother and Grandfather are both welcome.

At these extraordinary storybook portrait sessions, we welcome Grandmothers, Grandfathers, or both together. They both remembered their time with Santa and were little kids who loved Santa.

Private Sessions are like a commission.

The sessions are very private, you do not need to worry about what to wear, and the photo experience will be something you will never forget. And fear not, you will be on the nice list.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your session so we can help you get changed and prepared for your photography portraits. If you need or choose to have a family member with you for your session, please arrive at the same time.

We are creating fine art portraits and storybooks such as these that require time and patience. We want nothing to be stressful or rushed the day we make.

Trust the Artist Photographer, Santa, and Team

As a photographer and team, we have been creating nostalgic Santa sessions for over a decade. We are fine-tuned and know precisely what we are doing. You will not feel us doing our job; however, we want you to feel confident that we are taking care of every detail, so your story and fine art are told and created with perfection.

Artwork is essential to us as we are artists.

Larry and Ela Hersberger have made their living as artists for decades. They live, sleep and eat artwork. Yes, they are both loved and are masters at photography. However, they see photography as a tool to create their artwork.

The final artwork does not come out of the camera, as you will see in the finished artwork and storybook. There are hours of digital artwork to be done to elevate the photography to a nostalgic and almost mythical tale.

At our studio, we only create heirloom artwork created with archival quality. Whether working with children or grandparents, the goal is simple. Create artwork that will last the test of time. We want many generations of children to enjoy the artwork and storybooks created from these extraordinary studio sessions.

Children of all ages will cherish this artwork. Every time we have children and or grandparents in the studio or at one of our locations, magic happens.

THE GREATEST FAMILY GIFT

Once you see and read one of these grandparent and Santa storybooks, you will agree there is no greater family gift. You will not find any product in a store that can compete or compare with the profound emotion, love, and memories found in one of these precious books.

MAKE A STATEMENT and LET YOUR INNER CHILD SHINE

Make a statement to your family and create something unique that will be read and remembered for generations. Let people know of your beautiful inner child spirit. You are never too old to access your inner child and enjoy an experience of a lifetime.

You and your family will be happy you made this extraordinary decision. Our clients who have done these sessions have always said they loved making the decision. Most say it was far more than they ever expected.

READING YOUR BOOK TO FAMILY EACH AND EVERY CHRISTMAS

Just think how amazing this will be every Christmas. Perhaps you want to have Santa himself come to your home on Christmas Eve and read your book to your grandchildren. Or maybe you want to do this yourself. The moments are precious and will be memories forever.

Now...think about this. Put 50 or 100 years on your Dreaming of Santa storybook. There will be a family member reading your book to a set of children and telling them who that little girl or boy is with Santa. Priceless! Find something in a store that will do that for your family.
